This traditional Japanese whisk features 100 prongs, designed and handmade perfectly for thin (Usucha) tea preparation. Care instructions:
Before Use: Soak the tips of your chasen in warm water for a few minutes before each use to soften the bamboo, helping prevent breakage and allowing the prongs to open up for a better whisking experience.
After Use: Rinse your chasen thoroughly with warm water immediately after use to remove any matcha residue. Avoid using soap, as it can damage the bamboo and leave unwanted residue.
